Three-man catfishing team wins tournament with nearly 200 pounds of blue catfish

Louisville, KY – April 15, 2018 – Catfish anglers from ten states travelled to the Tennessee River and Watts Bar Lake for a Cabela’s King Kat Tournament Trail Super Event. Forty-six teams gathered at Loudon, TN, to test their catfishing skills against other anglers and Mother Nature.

Joey and Jerry Pounders moved from 5th place on day one to claim top honors at Gallatin, TN.

Louisville, KY – April 1, 2018 – Catfish anglers from nine states travelled to the Cumberland River and Old Hickory Lake for a Cabela’s King Kat Tournament Trail Super Event. Twenty-seven teams gathered at Gallatin, TN to test their catfishing skills against other anglers and Mother Nature.

Cabela’s King Kat Tournament Results for Tennessee River (Wheeler Lake) at Decatur, Alabama

This past Saturday, March 17, 2018 the Cabela’s King Kat Tournament Trail hit the waters of The Tennessee River (Wheeler Lake) in Decatur, Alabama. In the event over 120 anglers from 15 states were competing not only for the $15,000 in cash and prizes, but the opportunity to qualify for the 2018 Cabela’s King Kat Classic. This year's Classic Championship will be held September 14 & 15, 2018 on the Ohio River at Jeffersonville, Indiana and will have a guaranteed payout of $110,000 in cash and prizes.
