There really is nothing better for a kid than to get outside, get some sun on their skin and some dirt under their feet. Our KingKids events strive to introduce and encourage young people to get outdoors by exposing them to the wonder that is fishing. At our tournaments, we’ll work with the cities to provide kids events where they can fish, get prizes and giveaways and even be featured during our live weigh-ins because of our youth angler award. Every kid who participates in the KingKids events gets entered to win a scholarship and they are selected during our end of year Classic event. The scholarship money is raised through our raffle table at each and every captain’s meeting. We believe in the next generation and there’s no better way to encourage them to be outdoors than to introduce them to the wonders of the outdoor world at a young age.
